Can you post the code here? Maybe try putting it in quotes so it won't disappear. I'm not sure what you mean about the "attach" option. How were you trying to add it?

Arizona, when we are posting a topic there are those options:

the second one is the one supposed to upload a flash file(.swf) to our forum. When we click on it, it'll ask for a link. I just uploaded the file in this link: http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1406707406
if u try there, it's working fine, but when I upload here look what happens bellow:

Yes, I embedded in the site you sent me and when i posted the content above, it comes the "NULL".

As I'm looking for alternative solutions, I believe some forum frameworks have banned flash for security purpuse.

We do allow flash, but google groups is not supported by embedly.

The following google items are:

- Google videos
- Google maps
- Google Plus

Instead of embedding, you could also just post the link you posted above and people can download it from there.

Well I feel like Im close to getting it right, this time I uploaded in devianart: http://kellsogd.deviantart.com/art/Germanic-Languages-473199388

which is listed on the providers from embed.ly, when I embed and get the HTML code, and post it here...

<a class="embedly-card" href="http://kellsogd.deviantart.com/art/Germanic-Languages-473199388">Germanic Languages</a>
<script>!function(a){var b="embedly-platform",c="script";if(!a.getElementById(b)){var d=a.createElement(c);d.id=b,d.src=("https:"===document.location.protocol?"https":"http")+"://cdn.embedly.com/widgets/platform.js";var e=document.getElementsByTagName(c)[0];e.parentNode.insertBefore(d,e)}}(document);</script>

Lefora Team, I noticed that there is an HTML editor type, but it is restricted to supporter members.

So I wonder if I become a supporter that option will be able to show my .swf with the HTML embedded code (from embed.ly) that I posted earlier.

Arizona, the file u added, shows the preview image, and when I click it redirect to the deviantART link. I am looking for it to run directly on the forum, like this example:
This guy made a tutorial on how to run a .swf using a .swf in his post. Yes, I tried his tutorial, but that forum framework is different. But it illustrate what Im trying to accomplish here.

Could you please try to paste the following HTML code (as a normal post, without using the media add button), using the HTML 2.0 editor?

<a class="embedly-card" href="http://kellsogd.deviantart.com/art/Germanic-Languages-473199388">Germanic Languages</a>
<script>!function(a){var b="embedly-platform",c="script";if(!a.getElementById(b)){var d=a.createElement(c);d.id=b,d.src=("https:"===document.location.protocol?"https":"http")+"://cdn.embedly.com/widgets/platform.js";var e=document.getElementsByTagName(c)[0];e.parentNode.insertBefore(d,e)}}(document);</script>

That is regular flash embed code. You can add that with the video add button. But what you gave earlier was javascript which cannot be added.
